Hiii! I am Beth Montalvo-Kemp, Your Photographer.
I am ready to document your life's big, beautiful, and happiest moments with pictures as sweet as the moments themselves.
The happiest time of my life started with the cutie in this photo with me! Even though I am a photographer myself, Dallin & I have so much fun that we often forget to take photos together. We were elated when we got our engagement photos & wedding photos back and I believe everyone deserves that same feeling.
About Me
I would describe myself as an outgoing, energetic, Christ-follower, who LOVES puppies. I fell in love with photography whilst working for a different wedding film and photo company in 2016 in North Carolina. I took a small break when I moved to Utah to study Public Health at BYU and returned to photography whilst planning my own wedding. Now, my family is back to the Raleigh area for my husband's medical school training!
I spend my days capturing love stories and hanging out with the love of my life and our son. Our favorite thing to do is travel together. If we could drop everything, we would tour the world & bask in the sand at every beach we could find.
My Style
My style is true to color timeless photography. I love love LOVE seeing trends and during my eight years as a photographer, I have seen so many. I think it is more important that you are able to look at your photos for a lifetime and still feel the same about them as when you first saw them. My goal is that you will be able to display your photos in your home and that you will be proud to show them off for years to come.

2. Look through their portfolio to find out if you like their editing & shooting style.
Decipher what you want from the session or wedding. Do you want someone to guide you the entire way or would you rather have a photographer that does not interfere? Do you value the experience of taking the photos or would you rather have completely posed images? Do you want a more editorial look or a photographer who takes candid photos? Do you like bright colors or would you rather have moody dark images?
Find a North Carolina Photographer that makes you feel comfortable and look through their work to make sure it reflects what they are saying!

This may be unglamorous but you are investing time and money into a wedding photographer. It is only fair to you that they have a system in place that will preserve your precious images, especially on a wedding day. Make sure you are working with a professional that will protect you by using a contract.

Values & Style
My Approach to Photography
Connection is super important to me. My absolute favorite part of being a Raleigh North Carolina Wedding photographer is meeting my couples and being able to tell their love story. I feel that it is part of my job to help my couples be present with each other and enjoy their wedding day or session just as much as they love the photos themselves. I truly believe that there is a time and place for posed and guided photos and I absolutely love taking them. That being said, I would never want to interrupt a special moment. I pride myself in being able to guide my couples in a way that will still allow for real raw emotions so that you don’t have to be plastering on a smile for 8 hours!!!
I also feel really strongly about having tried and true backup systems. Even if you don’t choose me, I strongly suggest finding a photographer that has these capabilities. It would be unfair to yourself to book a photographer that doesn’t prepare ways to preserve your photos!
I personally have three systems in place to make sure that if heaven forbid anything were to malfunction, you will still receive your wedding photos. 1. I bring two camera bodies, three lenses and six batteries to each wedding. 2. I have selected a main camera body that copies photos onto two different SD cards, just in case one gets wet or corrupted- I will still have your photos. 3. I backup your photos three different times. The first is as soon as your wedding is over while I am driving home. The second is onto my hard drive as soon as I am home and the third is on my computer until your images have been delivered.
